So often, the challenges people face during and after their psychedelic experiences come from feeling alone. Disconnected. Fearful of judgment.
We’re going to change that.
At Fireside Project, we envision a world where every person feels safe, supported, and seen during and after their psychedelic experiences so they can use those experiences to live richer, healthier, more joyous lives. Our name was inspired by the feeling of sitting around a fire, experiencing a sense of community, connection, and openness.
Our mission is to help people minimize the risks and fulfill the potential of their psychedelic experiences in ways such as providing compassionate, accessible, and culturally responsive peer support, educating the public, and furthering psychedelic research, while embracing practices that increase equity, power sharing, and belonging within the psychedelic movement.
We will further our mission by
operating the Psychedelic Peer Support Line, which offers free 24/7 support by phone and text message from diverse volunteers to people in the midst of psychedelic experiences and the process of integrating those experiences
providing public education about psychedelic research, support, and integration
supporting and conducting data-driven research into psychedelic healing, support, and integration
embracing diversity at every level of our organization, from our staff to our volunteers, to the communities we serve, and providing scholarships to diverse volunteers to pursue careers in psychedelic healing.
